REASONABLE DOUBT THE SHOW
We were approached by a tv program that said they wanted to feature Karas case, We did NOT reach out to them. They said many things but one was that wanted to give her the chance to tell her story. Nothing could be farther from the truth. They lied to us for months leading up to the filming. We felt there were many areas of reasonable doubt in Karas case and they agreed. One early producer even said don’t tell anyone I said this but I really believe she is innocent and that Balmer man did it. What were we to believe but that they were honest. They acted like they wanted to be your friend and told you they admired you for your strength and courage. They really seemed disappointed when they learned I didn’t sell my house or go into debt on a paid attorney. I now know why, they would use that to further shame me or show how I have lost everything believing in my daughter. You know, to make the show sensational, make the audience pity me for being so stupid to blindly believe my daughter is innocent. We felt there were many areas of reasonable doubt in Karas case.
5 reasonable doubts in her case.
Eyewitness Misidentification is the single greatest cause of wrongful convictions nationwide. The expert Solomon Ferriero testified that the very young and the very old were not reliable witnesses especially when they were not interviewed by a trained person. The testimony of Mr. Damron said the little boy talked to the mother Before the 911 call. What was said to him? The old man visually impaired. Said he didn’t or couldn’t identify who he saw but could the next day after her picture was on tv every hour breaking news. The child’s trial testimony isn’t supported by evidence ie hair description, door not kicked in, no vest, no knives, clothes are different. A 6 year old eyewitness whose identification was contaminated by him speaking to his mom before he called 911. Then with the “facts” being disproven by the physical evidence. A Girl, Black hair, Vest with guns and knives. 11 knives. Shoes with spikes. Kicked door in. Wore these clothes. All while on his mother’s lap directing him to answer the way they thought he should. Later changes the type of clothing. He was 6, a young child, traumatized by what he did see and hear. Or was he asleep as was first reported and only saw the aftermath of the crime? A small child sitting on the couch with a wall of cabinets uppers and lowers prevented him from seeing what he was led to testified.
Trajectory and Blood Spatter No victim DNA or GSR on her or her car, 3 unknown DNA on gun. Spatter on walls, yet no blood or DNA or GSR on her. Science cannot conclusively prove any DNA was Karas DNA. 1:2200 means they couldn’t rule her out couldn’t conclusively say it was hers.. What about the other two? The Unknown DNA on the guns. ****UPDATE: AFTER CONSULTING WITH A REAL DNA EXPERT DAN KRANE OF WRIGHT STATE UNIVERSITY AND FORENSIC BIOINFORMATICS STATED THAT TODAY THEY WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO STATE THAT 1:2200 IS OR IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH KARA. A sample that small would not hold any statistical weight,
Trajectory of victims wound in head was in an downward direction not up. Victim was 5-10. defendant was 5-2. The gun was stolen two months prior, we have the police report. (We know who stole them and the night the show aired a call was received and a message left that the woman who was one of the thefts that stole that gun did it. I will attach that audio.)
Paul Balmer set her up. (She went in to the sheriff's department. He ran. He admitted to being at victims twice that day. He admitted to hiding guns so he was in possession of said guns. The man who most likely did it because he traded his freedom for her incarceration and Snitch witness - trading lies for special favors or freedom.
No Motive she had no motive She had drugs she didn't need any from victims. Victim had a gallon baggie full of drugs on his body. A Picture was taken at autopsy.
Snitches - wasn't even one of the reasons that I recall, but these are women who would sell their soul to get out of jail themselves to get another fix. Who can really believe people who got deals or the threat of returning to prison for their testimony to say something they knew was a lie?

Eyewitness Identification: The child’s trial testimony isn’t supported by evidence but he would have known if it was a woman or not. Nothing else matters about his discription and the fact his statements could have been influenced by a conversation that was not a trained investigator is irrelevant. Their expert disagreed with their conclusion that the child's id would have been accurate. He said as statistics will show that young children are not good witnesses.

They said their expert (who they did not name or give credentials) said that their expert said IF the victim was standing this way OR that way IF the victim was doing this or that then a shorter person could shoot someone in a downward angle but they didn’t look at the crime scene photos to determine how he was standing or sitting or stooping. Aren't they supposed to look at the crime scene pictures to determine the angle or position the victim was in? Because if they had they would have known he was standing looking away from the assailant. Also said the one DNA was Karas and it wouldn’t still be there if Kara had not been the one to use the gun. Only you can’t conclusively prove whose it was. The Unknown DNA on the guns. They Didn’t want those mentioned on the show. I am wondering now about the DNA cases solved 20 - 30 years later because of DNA being still present on the article.

Chris said he was so dumb he couldn't find his way out of a room with a door. They based this on his interviews at the jail. He was 49, my daughter 29, he had run ins with the law before, she had been stopped with her husband after leaving a bar, by a jealous ex wife's cop boyfriend. Her husband was driving years before. So Kara had to be the smart one to plan and carry out. After all she told him she was smart in a letter in an answer to his many letters and rumors given to her.
Motive- They said it was drugs they said Kara had to have a fix. She had a bad addiction-no one is denying that but if she needed the drugs why didn’t she take them? There were drugs laying around the trailer and a gallon baggie full of them still on the victim.
Snitches - who would sell their soul to get out of jail themselves to get another fix. Who can really believe people who got deals or the threat of returning to prison for their testimony to say something they knew was a lie? So they get one Brandy or Brandon Fitzpatrick to come on camera to say Kara was a manipulative, cold hearted murderer who told her she was guilty and that she was going to kill the child when she got out. (The child being killed when she got out was thought up by the prosecution to create sympathy for the child and to make Kara look like a monster). Only this same Snitch has recanted 4 times. Once to a Public Defender Investigator but hid when she came back with the typed affidavit to be signed. Once to a girl who was in jail with her (who immediately texted it to me). Once in a written letter to Kara begging for her forgiveness for Lying and for not signing the affidavit, and once to me in Walmart blaming that woman prosecutor. She’s still an addict and doesn’t do anything for nothing! She’s been listed as snitch witness for other murder trials. I think that makes her along with another Professional Snitches. Best of all she admitted, "I ONLY SAID WHAT THE PROSECUTOR TOLD ME TO SAY!" as she walked out. Is this not Prosecutorial Misconduct?
Lastly - They produce a letter that I gave them, the prosecution had and did not use, to make her look guilty. Fatima said," Audrey if I were in her place I would be denying it Not telling him how smart I was and saying these things." Well Fatima, had you or Chris bothered to read ALL of the material I sent you, then you would have seen that very letter in the files where she asked him what are you doing you know I wasn't there. (Picture of letter on web site). You decided that you had to finish big and dramatic! Throw off the family Shock the audience. You are so phony and I can only pray intelligent people will see your bull. Pretending and lying saying you want to
help people when really it’s just about helping yourselves. Who knows what you will actually see when you watch that horrible show as I’m sure it will be edited to have us saying completely different things. Remember as you watch all their shows that there is most likely another story behind them and it is totally different than the one they produced. They are in for ratings not truth.
Kara is innocent, She knows it, I know it, her family, friends, and even many of the staff of DCI believe it, because they see her every day.
They took out hope and tried to destroy it and us. They have not succeeded but made us more determined to find justice for the victims and for Kara.
