The Crime

On December 22, 2008 at approximately 6:10 to 6:20 p.m. someone entered the mobile home of Edward Mollett 46, of Snook Road in Franklin Furnace, Ohio and murdered him with one shot to the head at close range while he was standing at the sink of his kitchen. In the next room his wife Juanita 43, may have been sitting in a chair, she stood and the person shot her through the body, killing her. The person then walked to their daughter Christina 20 and killed her with one shot to the head at close range while she shielded her 6-year-old nephew. She was shot again in the hip from a distance. The boy left the residence and ran to a neighbor "Bob" Damron and he called the boy's mother. After their conversation, the neighbor called 911 at 6:38. You can hear the 4-wheelers and cars drive past the neighbors to the scene on the 911 call. The Sheriff's deputies arrived 20 to 25 minutes later.
